Braze Marketer of the Month: Martin Juglair, CRM Specialist at DAIUSE, pictured speaking onstage.

Each month, Braze selects one individual as our Marketer of the Month in order to celebrate the exceptional work being done by members of our Braze Bonfire community. Whether it's providing support for their fellow marketers or going above and beyond by sharing their innovative ideas and strategies, these individuals are making essential contributions to their companies, their users, and the customer engagement space as a whole.

This month, we’re recognizing Martin Juglair, CRM Specialist at Dayuse. Dayuse is the global leader in daytime hotel services. Based in Paris, the platform lets customers book hotel rooms, pools, spas and workspaces for a few hours, without an overnight stay, in more than 30 countries. Guests enjoy a premium hotel experience at a fraction of the cost, while partner hotels generate revenue from rooms and facilities that would otherwise sit empty during the day.

We spoke to Martin about his background and what they’re working on at Dayuse. Let’s dive in.

Tell us about yourself.

I’ve been working in CRM for five years. I discovered it during my apprenticeship at Ornikar, an online driving school in France, and what hooked me right away was personalization. Specifically, the idea that every journey and every message could feel unique to the person receiving it.

Two and a half years ago, I joined Dayuse. We sell beautiful experiences in beautiful hotels, which makes it a great product to work on, to customers in more than 30 countries. That means a huge variety of journeys, languages and cultures to take into account. People come to Dayuse for very different reasons, for example, a delayed flight, a last-minute meeting, or an afternoon at the spa. Same app, completely different needs, so personalization isn’t a nice-to-have, it’s the job.

Today I’m the primary Braze user and admin, in a CRM team of three, and AI is what lets us deliver that level of personalization at a global scale.

What is your favorite part of your job?

Personalization, without hesitation. What I love is building workflows that feel unique to each customer. For a long time, CRM meant choosing between scale and relevance. AI agents changed that. Today, when a user saves three hotels without booking, an agent writes them a message about those exact hotels, in their preferred language. Designing the logic behind it, what data the agent receives, what it should say and how we review it, is the most creative part of my job.

How long have you been using Braze and at how many companies?

Five years, at two companies, so every company I’ve worked at. I learned it at Ornikar during my apprenticeship, then kept working with it at Dayuse, where our usage has evolved a lot. Our repeat campaign, which encourages first-time customers to book again, is a good example. It started as a standard lifecycle email with the same message for everyone. We then plugged ChatGPT in through a webhook to personalize it. The results were there, but the setup was fragile. Any issue on the external side could break a campaign, we had to manage API credits, and we had no logs to see what the AI was actually sending to our customers.

When Braze released BrazeAI™ Agent Console, it solved all of that at once. The agent now sits directly as a step in Canvas, so everything is built, run and reviewed in one place, and I can inspect what it produces before it reaches anyone. No more external dependency, full visibility, and on top of that, an extra 23% uplift on the campaign.

What initiative or campaign are you most excited to work on this year?

Turning our entire CRM into individualized journeys. Today, AI agents power some of our key programs, like our favorite, repeat and weather campaigns. The goal for the coming year is to make that the default: every journey, from onboarding to reactivation and churn, adapting to each customer’s history, context and language rather than to a segment.

What is one campaign or initiative you have worked on in the last 1-4 months that you’re most proud of?

The one I’m proudest of is our weather-reactive push program. Dayuse sells daytime access to hotel rooms, and demand is driven by local, short-lived context. Nothing shapes that context more than the weather: a heatwave in Madrid or a rainy afternoon in Paris creates an immediate reason to book a room for a few hours. But building a campaign per city, per weather event and per severity level was simply impossible.

So I vibe-coded a small service that aggregates weather data for cities worldwide, detects notable events and scores them for severity and confidence. Those alerts feed a Braze Catalog, Canvas triggers a push to users in the affected city, and a BrazeAI™ agent writes the message on the fly from the context. Nothing is pre-written.

On our US pilot, it reached a 6.81% conversion rate versus 3.12% for the control group, a +118% uplift, and it runs always-on with no manual build per event.

Two side-by-side software screenshots show a visual workflow builder and a panel for defining context variables with code-based values.A code interface on a pink-to-orange gradient shows an input variable and JSON output with promotional copy for a cozy Dayuse escape.
